There is always something exciting happening here in Puerto Rico and April is no exception.. Highlights include: Reenactment of the Battle of 1797, Gastronómico Porta del Sol and the annual Tinglar Festival
April 27 – 30, Reenactment of the Battle of 1797, Old San Juan
Annual reenactment of the Battle of 1797 when San Juan was under attack by the British. Members of the Regimiento Fijo de Puerto Rico and participants from far and wide descend on Old San Juan to give demonstrations of battle tactics and more.

April 28 – 30, Gastronómico Porta del Sol
This annual west coast food festival is held at the Paseo del Litoral in Mayagüez featuring local chefs and restaurants

April 8, Tinglar Festival, Luiquillo
Annual event that raises awareness for the endangered leather-back turtles and the Northeast Ecological Corridor. There will be artisans, food, music and fun activities for the kids
