March 2017 is a busy month, with lots of great events and festivals for all the family, including the popular Casals Festival, the Puerto Rico Heineken JazzFest, Ironman 70.3 and more.
Until Mar 11 Casals Festival, San Juan
The annual Casals Festival runs until the 12th March, featuring classical music events at various locations throughout San Juan such as: The University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras Campus Theatre and the Centro de Bellas Artes Luis A. Ferré in Santurce.

Mar 23-26, Puerto Rico Heineken JazzFest
The 2016 Puerto Rico Heineken JazzFest will honor composer, saxophonist and arranger Ray Santos. The 4 day festival will also feature for the very first time ‘the Jazz Lab’. This year JazzFest takes place at the Bahia Urbana in Old San Juan.

Mar 19, Ironman 70.3
The annual Ironnman 70.3 takes place on Sunday March 19 with both professional and amatuer tri-athletes competing in the 3 event triathlon. First up is the 1.2 mile swim in the Condado Lagoon, followed by the 56-mile bike over the northern part of the island to Dorado and on to challenging cross-winds near the Atlantic Ocean and finally the two-loop, 13.1-mile run through Old San Juan

The town of Yauco will be celebrating their coffee festival at the Plaza de Recreo Fernando Pacheco, The festival will feature all things coffee, local foods and more

Mar 2-5, Carnival Mabo, Guaynabo
Annual town carnival that takes place in and around Paseo de Tablado in Guaynabo. The 4 day event features; Carnival Parades, Fair Rides, Food the Festival de la Patita de Cerdo, Competitions, Live Music and more. The festival ends with the ceremonial burial of the sardine

Mar 4-5, Gran Feria de Autos Antiguos, San Juan
The parking area of the Hiram Bithorn Stadium will host a Classic Car Show featuring around 1500 vehicles.

Mar 17, Dia Nacional de la Zalsa, San Juan
The Hiram Bithorn Stadium in, San Juan will host the annual Dia Nacional de la Zalsa (National Day of Salsa). This hugely popular event is the place to be if you are a fan of Salsa
Mar 23-26, PGA Puerto Rico Golf Open, Coco Beach Resort, Rio Grande
The Coco Beach Resort will be home to this year’s PGA Golf Tournament
