It’s September 2017 and the summer holidays maybe over but there are still plenty of events to keep you busy. Highlights for September include the annual Coffee & Chocolate Expo, Grito de Lares Anniversary and San German Feria de Antigüedades
Sep 23 – 24: Coffee & Chocolate Expo, San Juan
The annual Coffee & Chocolate Expo returns to the Puerto Rico Convention Center in San Juan. The 2 day event is the largest exhibition of coffee and chocolate industries in the Caribbean and is a chance to experience the best coffee and chocolate in the Caribbean

Sep 23, Grito de Lares Anniversary
The annual Grito de Lares at Plaza de la Revolucion in Lares commemorates the first uprising against the Spanish in Puerto Rico
Sep 2-4, Feria de Antigüedades (Antiques Festival), San German
The Centro de Estudiantes de la Inter de San Germán will host a 3 day antique fair featuring a host of antique dealers from around the island.

Ventana al Mar in Condado will host the open air cinema featuring the Batman Lego Movie & Wonder Women.
Sep 27 – Oct 1, Mayagüez Orchid Festival
The Mayaguez Mall will host the annual Mayagüez Orchid Festival featuring plant sales, exhibitions, workshops and more

Sep 30, Free Entrance to Old San Juan Forts & “El Portal” Visitor Center
To celebrate National Public Lands Day, there will be FREE admission to El Morro, San Cristobal in Old San Juan and El Yunque National Forest “El Portal” Visitor Center
