May 2019 – What’s Happening in Puerto Rico?
May 2019 – Summer is fastly approaching here in Puerto Rico. School holidays start towards the end of the month and locals and visitors are looking forward to spending some quality time with friends and family. It is a great month for all kinds of festivals and family activities and highlights include Ferinart Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico Comic Con, and the Puerto Rico Chocolate Festival.
May 2019 EVENTS:
May 3-12, Ferinart Puerto Rico, San Juan
The Cuartel Ballaja in Old San Juan will host this popular International Artisan Fair that will feature artisan exhibitions, workshops, cultural activities and more.
May 17 – 19: Puerto Rico Comic Con, San Juan
The largest Comic Con in the Caribbean takes place at the Puerto Rico Convention Center in San Juan. The event features well-known celebrities, cosplay, games and more.

May 4 – 5: Puerto Rico Chocolate Festival, Mayaguez
The Sports & Recreation Complex in Mayagüez will host this years Chocolate Festival and is a must for all you chocolate lovers

May 2-5, Arecibo Patron Saint Festival
The town of Arecibo celebrates its annual Patron Saint Festival that will feature various activities in the towns Plaza Publica. Activities will include, artisans, music, food and activities for all the family
May 3 to 5: Agroferia Nacional Coloso, Aguada
Annual town fair celebrating the local agriculture with farm animals, equipment, artisans, food and music. This is a popular event for the whole family

Hacienda Campo Rico will host its annual Feria del Campo that will feature Paso Fino Horses, car show, petting zoo, artisans, music and more.

May 7 to 11: Feria de Orquídeas
