"We were in town for two days before our cruise and found this to be a good location for the price we paid. beds were comfortable breakfast was fine enough. beach was only 5 minute walk away. First time in San Juan and loved it. The playita de Condado and the Condado Lagoon were a 15 min walk away. The Condado Beach was literally just a 5 minute walk away across Ashford Ave. There are tons of bars and restaurants walking distance. It was a great experience!"

"The staff were really friendly, made us feel at home. Hotel is very clean, no frills and in a really good location about half-way between the airport and the cruise docks. It was an easy bus ride to Old San Juan although finding a bus back was tough. Consider UBER. Considering other hotels cost upwards of $500 per night, this was a pretty good bargain. Breakfast was very minimal but good enough considering the cost of the room. We also found this to be a very high-end area of the city with a beautiful park and lovely beach less than a block away."

"A very well-placed little hotel with a relaxed and familiar atmosphere. we spend 10 days there over Christmas and had a lovely holiday. We had a top floor room overlooking the lagoon. All rooms have east or westside balconies, and from the higher floors there is great view of the cool condado area. It's also easy to walk or take a bus/taxi/Uber to old San Juan. The staff and the owners are great, very helpful and kind. We definitely recommend El Canario lagoon Hotel and will be back next year!"
